The Public Service Company recently announced it had deployed new  software for Critical Infrastructure

The Public Service Company of New Mexico recently announced it had implemented new cybersecurity software to secure its operations. The new cybersecurity software was deployed as part of a partnership with AlertEnterprise to help the Public Service company modernize its operations.

As the largest utility in New Mexico, the Public Service Company, the recently announced effort promises to modernize the operation’s security platform by utilizing  a single unified interface which allows for central management of logical and critical infrastructure operations. Previously, the utility’s cybersecurity platform was decentralized and manually operated.

In addition to increasing efficiency at the Public Service Company, the new cybersecurity system will help the utility comply with critical infrastructure security regulations. AlertEnterprise’s solution features automated audit and compliance reporting to help organizations meet CIP-004 regulatory standards as defined by the North American Electric Reliability Corporation.
