Veracity Industrial Networks Selected for NCCoE Energy Sector Asset Management (ESAM) Project

Veracity Industrial Networks, an award-winning developer of Industrial SDN-based technology for operational networks, today announced they have been selected by the National Cybersecurity Center of Excellence (NCCoE) as technology collaborators in the Energy Sector Asset Management (ESAM) Project.

As part of this collaboration, the NCCoE will compose and release a publicly available National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Cybersecurity Practice Guide (Special Publication 1800 series), which will describe a reference architecture and example solution to help organizations in the energy sector more effectively identify, control, and monitor their operational technology (OT) assets.

Veracity has been working on multiple Department of Energy projects, including Project “Chess Master,” designed to explore options for providing cybersecurity to critical infrastructure in the energy space. The current NCCoE project allows Veracity a vehicle to share the findings.
